Château Puyfromage offers a range of fine wines that express the authenticity of their terroir. Each wine has its own unique character, perfect for sharing with others or celebrating life’s special moments.
For more than two centuries, the story of our family and Puyfromage has unfolded through successive generations. First coopers, then wine merchants, our family acquired Château Puyfromage in 1943. Driven by a passion for wine, the new generation continues this family legacy with the same dedication: to reveal the unique identity of this exceptional terroir, protect it and pass it on to future generations.
The Puyfromage vineyard extends over 55 hectares on the clay-limestone plateau overlooking the Dordogne Valley, in the direct continuation of the Saint-Émilion vineyards. Predominantly planted with Merlot, complemented by Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Malbec, Puyfromage benefits from a privileged location and terroir, ideal for producing fine, balanced wines.
